best of: floral prints
I have a love/hate relationship with floral prints.. and flowers in general. I've never been much of a flower girl. They're pretty, yes, but they somehow never seem to survive more than a couple of days in my house. I'd rather you give me something really yummy to eat.
As far as prints go, I think there's a fine line between fashionable and a "I'm wearing the same fabric as my curtains" kind of look.
I think these ladies pulled it off well. These are my favorite floral print styles of the week --

I like Golden White Decor's take on florals. I am not a huge fan of them in general for the reason you stated. lol

I laughed out loud because I'm the same way about flowers. Although I now have a favorite which is the tiger lily. I always get one versus a bunch. I love to eat. I should be much bigger the way I eat and barely do anything. :-) My fav is oh so glam's shorts and golden white decor's blazer. Have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteI've been a flower girl all my life. I like my flowers in my garden, in a vase, on my clothes, on my curtains and pillows, just about anywhere. I have an ever-growing collection of flower earrings.
My friends always buy me floral print stuff for Christmas and birthdays. When they don't know what to get me, they know floral is the safe way to go. Lol.

I know!! I have a love hate relationship too with florals. At first glance, they look so pretty... but then I start thinking about the sound of music, and how Julie Andrews made clothes out of those curtains. I feel like florals look beautiful on other people, but awful on me! Maybe I'll have to give it another try... but you're right, I'd rather spend the money on a yummy dinner
