As I mentioned here , I think legwear is the perfect way to transition between seasons . Whether it's tights, leggings, leg warmers, etc.. I love it all! I have a love/hate relationship with floral prints.. and flowers in general. I've never been much of a flower girl. They're pretty, yes, but they somehow never seem to survive more than a couple of days in my house. I'd rather you give me something really yummy to eat.  As far as prints go, I think there's a fine line between fashionable and a "I'm wearing the same fabric as my curtains" kind of look. I think these ladies pulled it off well. I love a good maxi! They've been popping up everywhere recently and I guess it's because most of you are starting to get warmer weather. There were just too many great style pictures out there so I had to narrow it down to maxi skirts this week. My favorite type is pleated but you really can't go wrong with any of them. According to Lucky Magazine's article, "10 Trends We Can't Wait to Wear in 2013" , these will be 2013's hottest trends. Here's what I think.. 1. Bold Stripes. The black and white version is a little too jailbird-ish to me, but vertical stripes can be slimming-- and I'm all for that. 2. Romantic Ruffles. Lucky referred to this trend as "feline, flirty, and frilly". I personally refer to ruffles as annoying. 3. The New Le Smoking. Clearly I'm not a fashion expert because I had no idea what the hell "le smoking" referred to. For those of you who don't know, here you go . Anyway, hasn't this been trendy for a while now? I love blazers!  4. Fancy Flats. Oh I am SO excited about this one! I think I've been rocking this one since 2008-ish even if it wasn't stylish. Stilettos may be sexier but flats definitely win when it comes to comfort. 5. The Drop-Waist Dress. I'm a bit p...

Wedge sneakers have taken over runways and streets around the world and I want to know what the big hype is. When have tennis shoes ever been considered a fashion statement unless you are in the 90's and/or a hip hop artist? Someone put a wedge in these sneakers and suddenly it's a trend? I think there must have been an outbreak in models with sore feet because I hear these babies are super comfy- and I'm all about comfort. Now don't get me wrong, the trend is weird enough that some people can rock it. And by some people, I do not mean myself. [via] [via] [via] What do you think of this new trend? Hot or not? Either way, I wouldn't invest too much in these. It's a trend that I don't see lasting long (I hope!).
