PEOPLE Magazine 2013 Oscars Double Issue

Guess what!? The PEOPLE Magazine 2013 Oscars Double Issue is in stores now! Whoop! 
As usual, I am always looking for an excuse to venture into Target. I believe there is only one on the island and it's way on the other side from where we live (ok, I'm exaggerating, but it is kinda far) so I usually have to bribe my husband to take a trip there. This time I bribed him by telling him that after our trip to Target, we could end the day watching the sunset at the beach. This worked out well because he got to practice his camera skills and I got to catch up on all of the Oscars fashion in PEOPLE Magazine!
As I mentioned here, PEOPLE Magazine holds a special place in my heart. My absolute favorite issues are the ones that feature red carpet fashion. What girl doesn't like to stare (and sometimes drool) at gorgeous women, gorgeous hair, gorgeous makeup, gorgeous gowns... I could keep going.
Although I wouldn't be able to afford most of the items floating down the red carpet, PEOPLE Magazine let's me dream about it.


I was so pleased to see that at least one of my girls made the cover. Although I wish that they would have used a picture that showed her entire dress, Jennifer Lawrence looked stunning anyway. Plus, how cute is Adele?! And after watching the Oscars, I was surprised that Naomi Watts didn't end up on the cover. Her dress had mixed reviews (I loved it) but whatever your opinion of it, you can't deny that her dress was a showstopper.
And the rest of the red carpet style? Well you'll just have to head to Target and pick up the PEOPLE Magazine 2013 Oscars Double Issue to check it out!

I have to admit, I had the hardest time matching this necklace with an outfit. Bright colors make me nervous which is probably why my closet is full of neutrals. As much as I love statement necklaces and bright colors on other people, it makes me nervous when they're on me!
