best of: black and white

As I mentioned here, the combination of black and white is a big trend this year. Why is it so big this year? I have no idea. It seems like these colors (the most common colors ever) are and always have been a staple in our closets. It screams classic and I believe it always will. And maybe that's why I love it so much -- it's timeless.

I have to admit, I had the hardest time matching this necklace with an outfit. Bright colors make me nervous which is probably why my closet is full of neutrals.
