I added some light pink and gold hardware accessories to complete the modern girly look. Finding balance in this crazy life is hard. I feel like I'm constantly trying to fit things into my schedule whether it's work, blogging, spending time with Jared, friends, playing with Duke, keeping in touch with loved ones off island, the list never ends. And I don't even have kids! (major props to all the moms and dads out there!) Since I've been working a lot more from home, finding balance has been even more challenging.  I mentioned last week that Jared and I are on stay-cation this week. I'm writing this post in advance but I know It's going to be SO difficult to stay away from work, email, social media, and really the internet in general. I mean let's not kid ourselves, I won't be able to ignore it all completely, but sometimes don't you think we should? Jared and I are going to be playing tourist and will be on a week long stay-cation. It will be my birthday week (any other May babies out there?) and I told him that all I want is for us to do something super cool. I want an experience, not materials. Ok, I'm kind of lying because I also asked him to cook for me, ha!
