Have you heard about The Messy Project ? If not, read about it now and you're welcome. It's one of the most genius ideas I've seen around the blogosphere. It's become so popular that Kelly created The Mini Messy Project so that more people can get in on the action. ( She also just announced that The Messy Project will now be held twice a month!! ) So what is the MINI project you ask?! Well if you haven't guessed it yet, it's all about the mini parts of fashion - accessories! Just like clothes, accessories are also worn differently by each person depending on their style, shape, look etc. Accessories are not limited to just jewelry. They can be tights, hats, sunglasses, headbands, bows, scarfs, shoes, belts, gloves.... and in this case, leggings! So here's the deal: 1 accessory 4 girls 4 different styles 1 major blog day Four girls were given a pair of floral leggings to style in our own way. Here's what I did with them...

As you may know, Jared gave me a new camera for Valentine's Day. I have a lot to learn about the camera and photography in general, but it's something that I'm really excited about. I've always had a love for photography since I was a little girl. This is my first "big girl" camera and with the beautiful setting of Hawaii, I've definitely been putting it to good use.  Consider this a warning in advance - there will be lots and lots of pictures to come. I'm still trying to get the focus and colors just right. Any tips are welcome! I took about a million pictures on this little hike. Stay tuned for more!

restaurant review: boston's pizza manoa

Image
Pizza holds a dear place in my heart. It's a type of comfort food, I guess. It wasn't until my early 20's that I realized that all pizza is not created equal. While living in NYC, this became even more evident. Nothing compares to New York pizza, right? Wrong. Well, kind of. Let's put it this way.. if pizza in NYC ranks a 10 out of 10, Boston's Pizza Manoa ranks an 8. That's pretty high, y'all. Especially for Hawaii where the food  sucks  isn't particularly above average.  If you order a "slice", they'll hand over a quarter of a pizza for roughly $5. Selections vary daily but you can always find the classics. Try it out and let me know what you think!
