[via] I recently received an email from a fellow blogger who wanted to swap buttons with me. She changed her mind a few days later when she saw this post . She said that she has 2 young kids and that kind of language was not something she wanted to "support or promote" and that it was "out of her comfort zone". I'm not upset with her at all. Maka what? Yea, I know. I thought that too. The lingo here takes some getting used to but it's pretty easy to catch on to after a while. Anyway, there's an area beside the Makapu'u Lighthouse Trail (I'm not sure what it it's called... and I probably should have researched that before writing this!) that we visit often. It's one of our favorite spots on the island.  To get there, you have to walk about a mile through a field with views of mountains to your left and right and the ocean ahead of you. Once you reach the water you can head to the left where there's a little cove with sand that's perfect for laying out and swimming. There's rarely anyone there which makes it a perfect place to take Duke . He loves it there. He's a beach lover and this one is definitely his favorite. Wanna know something that makes me really really sad? When someone leaves a super awesome comment on my blog, I instantly fall in love with them and want to chat, I click to reply to them via email, and BOOM. My whole world shatters because I can't. Why? Because they are a no-reply blogger- meaning their email address is not attached to their blogger account-- so no one can reply!  Lots of you have heard this before (I know I have heard it a million times). But lots of you have not and probably still have no idea what I'm talking about (I was clueless about this during my first few months of blogging) and I know this for a FACT because I haven't been able to respond to over 50% of the latest comments here! Corner Shop Cop Costume Tee - Urban Outfitters Daydreamer LA Sweatshirt - Urban Outfitters As usual, I've procrastinated and have no costume for this weekend's Halloween festivities! So.. Exquisite Corpse | LN-CC How badass are these skulls by Exquisite Corpse ? I had to share them! Each skull is completely unique and intricately covered with colorful beads. So rad! They're pretty pricey, but here are a few other pieces of Halloween decor that I'm diggin'.. and these won't empty your wallets :) What do you think? [via] As I mentioned here , I have a serious problem with letting go of grudges.  It's always been a struggle of mine and as I get older (and wiser!) I think I am finally starting to figure out why I am the way I am. I honestly consider myself to be a genuinely nice person. Yes, I have a mean girl inside that likes to make an appearance sometimes but I can't ever remember a time when I was mean to someone or hurt someone for no reason at all. I guess I expect the same from others. So when someone does hurt me, even if it's in the slightest way, I wonder why. What did I do? What did I say? I wonder to the point that it eats me up inside, ruins my day(s), and probably affects me a lot more than it does them. I have to admit, I had the hardest time matching this necklace with an outfit. Bright colors make me nervous which is probably why my closet is full of neutrals. As much as I love statement necklaces and bright colors on other people, it makes me nervous when they're on me! Living in a Hawaii, where there's 12 months of a season I like to call "paradise", has definitely forced some more color in my life!
