Did you know that about 76% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck? Pretty scary number, huh? The reality is that most of us are one emergency away from financial disaster. This was made especially apparent to me a couple of months ago when I got 2 speeding tickets, 1 flat tire, 1 dead car battery, and a ton of medical bills for my sweet baby Duke. All within a span of 3 weeks. I panicked. Especially about the Duke situation. I knew that I had to do everything that I could to try to save him. Thank God, I was able to figure out my situation financially but I know there are a ton of people who aren't so lucky.

Benefits matter. Check with your insurance providers, financial advisors, banking systems, etc. Make sure that you'e getting the most out of it. Make sure that you're NOT one emergency away from financial disaster. Check out the 2014 Aflac WorkForces Report for help!

I have to admit, I had the hardest time matching this necklace with an outfit. Bright colors make me nervous which is probably why my closet is full of neutrals. As much as I love statement necklaces and bright colors on other people, it makes me nervous when they're on me!
