One of my favorite things in the world is a company that combines helping others and shopping (two things that I love!) and Stephanie Diaz has done just that with her new company, Love, Always. 

Love, Always is an online boutique that aims to bring awareness to the fight against bullying by donating 10% of profits to a different anti-bullying foundation each month. 

Here are a few shocking facts on bullying from the Love, Always website:
  • 1 in 7 students in grades K-12 are either a bully or victim of bullying
  • 87% of students said shootings are motivated by the desire to get back at those who have hurt them
  • Bullying has been linked to 75% of school shootings
  • 71% of students say that there are incidents of bullying at their school

Stephanie started the shop by selling anti-bullying t-shirts and has transitioned into selling jewelry. She handpicks each product and designer herself, often searching for designers who also promote "feel-good-shopping" to sell in her e-store.

She recently added Dogeared jewelry which promotes "good karma" by donating a portion of each purchase to different charities including One Voice, Heal the Bay, and Stand Up to Cancer.

When I asked Stephanie why she started Love, Always she said, "I have been able to channel two of my favorite things (fashion and helping others) into one giant thing! I hope in the near future that I can design my own jewelry and be able to call it my own."

I have to admit, I had the hardest time matching this necklace with an outfit. Bright colors make me nervous which is probably why my closet is full of neutrals.
