[via] I've been in kind of a writing funk lately.. and maybe just a funk in general. I couldn't figure out why and then it kinda hit me.. I've been spending so much time on this little ol' blog that I think I may be forgetting to live . You know, the kind of living that does not involve a laptop or an iPhone... does that kind of living exist anymore? .. and how can I expect to have anything to write about if I'm not experiencing anything? and although I'm seeing great results on my blog, those results aren't the same in real life. When I'm not working, I'm blogging. When I'm not blogging, I'm working. I've noticed recently that most of the time that my husband and I are home together, he's playing video games and I'm on the computer. I've always cared, but I guess you pay extra attention when you know you'll be posting certain photos just like you would if you knew you were going to see someone.  One thing that hasn't changed though, is my first priority when it comes to what I look like -- comfort. I'm just not the kind of girl who wears something that she's not comfortable in. So with that being said, I always try to find a way to incorporate comfort AND style in my wardrobe. Apparently shit went down in blog land this week. I often feel like I live (read: blog) under a rock because I never know what's going on when people say that there's drama happening. I keep seeing posts about negativity and bullying and blah blah blah but I never know exactly what's going on. I guess it's a good thing though. I'd rather not be involved at all.  To be honest, I think it's all pretty funny. After all of the super dramatic posts, I read this one and it made me laugh, mostly because it's just so true. I know we all spend a ton of time and put forth a lot of effort towards are little homes on the web. But sometimes I think people take themselves a little too seriously.  Most of my family and friends don't even know that this blog exists.
