Thesis writing involves several processes which makes the entirety of the experience both exciting and challenging. From choosing a researchable topic that has not been done by other students and eventually narrowing it down to become a uniquely original work to soliciting the help of a research supervisor and in embarking on data collection and writing the paper, these are some of the tasks that almost all undergraduate and graduate students working on a thesis consider as stressful. In spite of the many challenges that students have to put up with, undeniably, the thesis project is an important project-based and challenge-based educational experience that helps in building character and in preparing students for their chosen career. One particular skill that is indispensable and which perhaps is unknowingly cultivated among students as they work on a thesis is the ability to work with a group of superiors.
[via] I've been in kind of a writing funk lately.. and maybe just a funk in general. I couldn't figure out why and then it kinda hit me.. I've been spending so much time on this little ol' blog that I think I may be forgetting to live . You know, the kind of living that does not involve a laptop or an iPhone... does that kind of living exist anymore? .. and how can I expect to have anything to write about if I'm not experiencing anything? and although I'm seeing great results on my blog, those results aren't the same in real life. When I'm not working, I'm blogging. When I'm not blogging, I'm working. I've noticed recently that most of the time that my husband and I are home together, he's playing video games and I'm on the computer. We could be in the same room but not speak for hours..It was never like that before. And I don't want it to continue to be that way. Saying that out loud (or typing it) makes me realize tha...
Top: c/o Style Lately (15% off w/ code IMSTYLED) // Jeans: American Rag // Sunglasses: SMHP // Necklace: gift // Wrap Bracelet: gift // Handbag: Michael Kors // Shoes: TOMS Since starting this blog, I've become increasingly aware of what I'm wearing and what I look like in general. I've always cared, but I guess you pay extra attention when you know you'll be posting certain photos just like you would if you knew you were going to see someone. One thing that hasn't changed though, is my first priority when it comes to what I look like -- comfort. I'm just not the kind of girl who wears something that she's not comfortable in. So with that being said, I always try to find a way to incorporate comfort AND style in my wardrobe. A t-shirt and jeans may be super comfy but I'll try to find a unique tee, add some accessories, something to make it a little different. I'd say that I have my own sense of style but I wouldn't cal...
Apparently shit went down in blog land this week. I often feel like I live (read: blog) under a rock because I never know what's going on when people say that there's drama happening. I keep seeing posts about negativity and bullying and blah blah blah but I never know exactly what's going on. I guess it's a good thing though. I'd rather not be involved at all. To be honest, I think it's all pretty funny. After all of the super dramatic posts, I read this one and it made me laugh, mostly because it's just so true. I know we all spend a ton of time and put forth a lot of effort towards are little homes on the web. But sometimes I think people take themselves a little too seriously. Most of my family and friends don't even know that this blog exists. And out of the ones who do, there's only a few who have actually ever read it. If I told people about the crap that goes on in "blog land" they'd laugh. When it comes down to i...
