My friends think my style is looking too "grandma-ish" lately -- starting with this floral kimono that they like to call a curtain. I don't care though. Buzzfeed recently listed the Kapiolani Community College Cactus Garden as 1 of " 22 Amazing Hidden Gems to Uncover in Hawaii ". I would have never thought to list this place.. even though it is one of my favorite spots on the island. I have a pretty long list though.  The cactus garden is one of my favorite places for a photo shoot. We used to walk through it all the time before and after hitting up the KCC Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings. It's like a little piece of the Southwestern desert and makes me feel closer to Texas. If you're in the area - check it out!
