One fun  thing about living in Texas or Hawaii is that it just doesn't get too cold around here. So when the holidays roll around, we just kinda have to roll with it. The day before I took these photos, it was 40 degrees outside. But the temp rose up to 70 on picture day. Soooo our winter wardrobe has to stay flexible. From the wall decor to the glassware to the solid oak dance floor, this place screams TEXAS (my kinda place). And besides being an awesome place to dance (and drink) the night away, you know I had to try the food. Do yourself a favor and try their flatbreads, sliders, and (giant) mozzarella sticks. Have you ever had someone in your life who was like a ray of sunshine?  That's what Eun Hae is to me. A ray of sunshine.  Her positive vibes light up a room.  She brings out the best in me.  She pushes me to be more and to do more. In the short time that I've known her, she's managed to be a part of some of the lowest and highest times in my life; always pushing me towards the light at the end of the tunnel. Always pointing out the silver linings. Always lifting me up, encouraging me, making me laugh.  My life is better (+ a lot more exciting) with her in it. I'm blessed to call her my friend .  Happy Birthday, Darling.  Thanks for being my sunshine! See you soon.

This year, I was lucky enough to score tickets to weekend one of Austin City Limit's Music Festival. And not just any tickets, VIP tickets! It was my first time attending an ACL Music Festival and I was beyond excited. My boss hooked us up with the tickets, scoring major brownie points from my coworker and I.  ACL wristbands + bracelets from Uncommon Goods ACL Day 1 ACL Day Two ACL Day Three VIP Grove at ACL 2013 The VIP Grove at ACL Fest was fabulous. I mean really there was no reason to leave unless there was a specific band that you wanted to see live. The VIP Grove had complimentary food and drinks all day long. Yes, ALL - DAY - LONG. Food was catered by HEB and the Austin Food and Wine Festival and more. Drinks were flowing courtesy of Tito's Vodka, Topo Chico, Sweet Leaf, Boxed Water, and more. And there was lots of free swag to take home. My drink of the weekend = Tito's vodka + lemonade + a splash of Top Chico
